Celebrated since Roman times and perhaps even earlier, the main purpose in life of the most glamorous Maltese has always been to lift the spirits of its doting owners. Maltese are even tempered, and quite affectionate. they need regular, but extensive and gentle combing. These little dogs are perfect for apartment living as they require little exercise. Males and females are both 8-10 inches in height and weigh between 8-10 lbs. These dogs are intelligent and are easy to train. The dazzling, profuse silky coat falls long and straight, parting along the spine and concealing the feet completely.
